Theres always a dilemma on where to start, how to start,what to pack and many more. The obvious one is where to stay and what to have while you are on trekking.

But trying to make it clear and sorting things out for you, this content might be of some help.

You need to camp while you are on a trek or you need to stay at teahouses available.

Previously teahouses used to be small homes with shared bedroom. But, these days it has been converted to hotels but kept the original name

We were at an Annapurna Region during the july of the month. Plenty of trekkers passed along the trail, and the teahouses that we encountered were very hospitable and warming.

We found many some teahouses which might be of great use if you ever plan to visit Annapurna Circuit.

Farmhouse

There is a beautiful farmhouse located between Chame and Upper Pisang. Comparatively it’s close to Chame. You will find a small cafe where you can relax and be at peace . You can enjoy the freshly baked donuts and apple tea.

The farmhouse serves you the best hospitality . You will be very delighted to see the outlook of the apple orchards . But this is also the main reason why the farmhouse is quite expensive.UIt charges 60$ per night which we think is quite expensive for the trekkers.

You can take a jeep if you cannot walk or is much of a trekking person.

Ngawal Mountain House

This teahouse is located between Upper Pisang and Manang, Ngawal . It is a very beautiful Ngawal house. You can stop here for lunch which is on the way to Barka.

Ngawal Mountain House has a very luxurious bathrooms , the cleanest dinings and kitchen. Must say, anyone will be overwhelmed to watch that.

The price of the room ranges from 5$ to 25$. You will love to stay a night and enjoy the splendid views of Annapurna

Tanpopo

This teahouse is quite different as Tanpopo is a Japanese inspired hotel. It is situated at the beautiful Marpha Village in Mustang Region.

Tanpopo has been serving the delicious meals along with the spectacular views, nice private bathrooms. You can also enjoy the hot showers there and and relax at the large and clean rooms. They have the best and comfortable beds

If we have to compare amongst the Farmhouse and Ngawal Mountain House , Tanpopo is not fancy and 4$ is a very fair price.

Broadly speaking, Marpha is very famous at Mustang region and if you want to wander through the street and relax, stay at Tanpopo.

Hotel Hilltop, Tadapani

It is is situated at an altitude of 2,360 m on the forested ridge of the Annapurna Region.Tadapani has 8-10 tea houses with basic and simple accommodation.

You will be mesmerized to watch the beautiful sunrise views of Machhapuchhre and Annapurna South.

Hotel Hilltop is a family- run hotel is very peaceful and hospitable.

Make sure you carry cash along with you as there are no ATM access nearby.

Jhinu Danda Guest House

Similar to the above teahouses, this Jhinu Danda Guest House is also a hidden gem just above the hot springs(Jhinu Danda). The trekkers here can soak with the view of the river gorge.

Incase if you are a trekker on this region, make sure you ask for a room with a view of the Modi Khola river.

Broadly speaking, you will find 10-12 teahouses for the natural hot springs.You will find the rooms very basic yet comfortable with shared bathrooms.

You can enjoy Dal, Bhat , Soup and pasta as per the items available.

There are chances that you might not get a free WIFI and may have to pay an extra charge for WI-FI and charging.

Tips:During the Spring and Autumn make sure you book your rooms in advance. The number of trekkers at this time are loaded . You might have to live at the dining room if you are not cautious about this problem.

Himalaya Hotel, Upper Sinuwa

Himalaya Hotel is located at Upper Sinuwa at the altitude of 2,300m. This is also the finest destination to relax and take a peaceful nap. Comparative this hotel is quiet to the more crowded Lower Sinuwa.

It has better views and is newer,cleaner rooms.
Get an early start to reach here from Chhomrong before the rooms fill.

Community Lodge, Ghandruk

This community Lodge is run by the local women’s group on the way to Annapurna region. It is special as this place is a community-based lodges that helps in funding of education for girls and health services in Ghandruk.

You’ll get authentic Gurung food here. Make sure you try the millet bread and gundruk soup here.

Snow View Lodge, Khopra Danda

This View Lodge is off the main ABC route at an altitude of 3,660m. Snow View Lodge offers the 360° mesmerizing views of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South . The teahouse is very basic but the solitude and sunrise makes it one of the best moments in your life.

More precisely, it is a great spot for photography lovers.

The region is commercialized which is why you will get tremendous options of teahouses while you are on the trek to Annapurna Region.

Especially on the peak seasons like Autumn and Spring. Make sure you take the off-beaten teahouses too as they are quite cheap, hospitable and serves you the best local items.
