Following your breakfast, it is time to hit the road and set forth on a journey from Kathmandu to Pokhara, which is expected to last for about 7 to 9 hours. In the morning, we leave Pokhara and drive towards Kande, a small village along the Pokhara-Beni Highway. The drive takes about an hour, passing through small settlements and green hills. At Kande, we get ready for our trek, checking our gear before starting the journey.

The trail begins with a steady climb through rhododendron and oak forests. As we walk, we get beautiful views of the Annapurna and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) mountains. The air becomes fresher as we move higher. After about 3–4 hours of trekking, we reach Australian Camp, a great place to take a short break and enjoy the scenery.

From there, we continue on a forested trail with occasional stone steps leading to Deurali, a peaceful village with a few lodges. At Deurali, we can relax and enjoy the stunning sunset over the mountains. The night will be spent in a teahouse, where we have a warm meal and rest for the next day's trek.

We start the day with a warm breakfast at Deurali before heading towards Low Camp. The trail continues through dense rhododendron forests, where we might spot some Himalayan birds and hear the sounds of nature all around us. The path is mostly uphill but manageable, with occasional clearings that offer stunning mountain views.

After a few hours of walking, we arrive at Forest Camp, a small resting point with a few lodges. Here, we take a short break and enjoy some tea or snacks. From Forest Camp, the trail becomes steeper as we move higher into the alpine zone. The trees start to thin out, and we get our first glimpses of Machhapuchre's sharp peak.

After about 5–6 hours of trekking, we reach Low Camp, a peaceful spot surrounded by cloud-covered hills. From here, we can see Annapurna South and Machhapuchre up close. We check into a teahouse and rest for the evening, enjoying a hot meal before sleeping early.

After breakfast, we continue trekking uphill towards High Camp. The landscape changes as we gain altitude, with fewer trees and more open grassy slopes. The trail becomes narrower, with some steep sections, but the breathtaking views keep us motivated.

As we climb, the Annapurna range comes into full view, with towering peaks standing against the blue sky. After about 2 hours of walking, we reach Middle Camp, where we can rest for a bit. From here, we walk along a ridge, with stunning views on both sides. The final stretch to High Camp is a bit challenging, but once we reach the top, the scenery makes it all worthwhile.

High Camp is a small settlement with a few lodges. From here, we can see Machhapuchre, Annapurna South, and Hiunchuli very clearly. In the evening, we enjoy a warm meal while watching the sunset over the Himalayas. After dinner, we rest early, as the next day will be the toughest part of the trek.

Today is the most exciting and challenging day of the trek. We wake up early, around 4 or 5 AM, and start hiking towards Mardi Himal Base Camp. The trail is steep and rocky, with narrow ridges in some places. We walk slowly, taking deep breaths as the air gets thinner.

As the sun rises, the snowy peaks glow with golden light, creating a magical view. After about 3–4 hours of climbing, we reach the base camp at 4,500m. From here, we get a panoramic view of the entire Annapurna range, with Machhapuchre standing tall right in front of us.

After spending some time at the base camp, we start descending towards Badal Danda, which means "Cloud Hill." The trek down is easier, and after a few hours, we arrive at Badal Danda, a ridge covered in mist with breathtaking views. We spend the night here, enjoying a well-earned rest after the long trek.

After breakfast, we start descending towards Sidhing, a small village located in a valley. The trail is mostly downhill, passing through forests and traditional villages. This part of the trek is quiet, with fewer trekkers on the path.

Sidhing is a beautiful and peaceful village where we can rest for a bit and enjoy some local food. From here, a jeep will pick us up for the drive back to Pokhara. The road is bumpy but offers scenic views of hills, rivers, and farmland along the way.

Once we reach Pokhara, we check into our hotel and take some time to relax. In the evening, we can explore Lakeside, have a nice meal, or even get a massage to soothe our tired muscles. This is a great time to reflect on the trek and celebrate our achievements.

After breakfast, we leave Pokhara and drive back to Kathmandu. The journey takes around 6–7 hours by tourist bus or a private vehicle, following the Prithvi Highway. The road follows the Trishuli River, passing through green hills, small towns, and terraced farms.

We stop for lunch at a roadside restaurant and continue the journey towards Kathmandu. Once we arrive in the city, we check into our hotel and rest. In the evening, we can explore Thamel, buy souvenirs, or enjoy a farewell dinner.

This marks the end of our Mardi Himal trek, leaving us with wonderful memories of the mountains and the journey.
