Food and Water Options in Everest Region
February is the winter of the month. If you are looking for the season for trekking, consider February too.You will find many tea houses up above on the route however, there are chances that most of the items are off the table.
Most of the locals migrate downhill as the weather can be harsh most of the times. You will find food and stuffs but it is not as like the main popular seasons.
There are several things you need to keep in mind for February, like don’t drink tap or river water. It’s best for you to buy the boiled water .

In that case, hire a guide / porter at the Everest Region. Incase of peak seasons, its extremely difficult to find such experienced guides and porters .
Similarly, January is difficult too as its winter and there are less locals or even less trekkers. Make sure you research everything before you take a leap towards Everest.
You can also take help from the lodge owners in Lukla, Phakding or Namche as they are more experienced and has more ideas regarding this problem.
Availability of Teahouses and Lodges During the Trek
The lodges up above are relatively called the tea houses. This works as the business or to sustain as the day-to-day earn or a way working for family.
You can find few comfortable lodges that are at the lower regions of the tre. These lodges will give you the best hospitality on returning from the trek.
