Mountains in Nepal are peaks that stand really tall, at least 6,000 meters high. Following this rule, there are more than 1,310 mountains above 6000 m in Nepal. Different people might have different ideas about what makes a mountain, but in Nepal, it's all about those high peaks reaching 6,000 meters or more.

Nepal even has 90 mountains that go higher than 7,000 meters and a special group of 8 mountains that tower above 8,000 meters.
